Yesterday morning our grass had a touch of white ……
After a glorious and long fall we’re finally facing winter and wintry temperatures, brrrr! Scarfs, shawls, hats, mittens: they all must come out of their hiding places.
Trying to always look at the bright side of things: the need for wooly accessories is not a bad thing for an avid crocheter (knitter), haha!
Now I realize that a post like this is not easy to relate to when you live in the Southern Hemisphere – just the thought of mittens and/or a scarf might cause you to break out in a sweat….. However, there’s always Pinterest; a fab place to pin projects we love for later reference.
So without further ado: here’s this week’s “Treasury Tuesday”, filled to the brim with mittens and fingerless gloves to keep those hands warm and toasty!
I absolutely love the crocheted cables on the mittens (see above) – something I’ve really wanted to try myself.
What I like most about my second choice (below), is the use of good old granny squares!
Please stay warm, or cool – depending on where you are in the world, and have a great week!
Love,
Marianne xx
